Survival rule of 3, #3: You can only live three days without water. It's even shorter in harsh environments. There are many critical reasons to have water storage including cooking and sanitation in case of an interruption or contamination of your culinary water source. Store at least 1 gallon per person per day for no less than two weeks. The more the better. Listen for some great storage advice.
